CALL FOR PAPERS

KI 2005 Workshop

PuK 2005: 19. Workshop Planen, Scheduling und Konfigurieren / Entwerfen

New Deadline for Papers         26.Juni 2005

The PuK workshop is the regular meeting of the special interest group on planning, scheduling, design and configuration within the AI section of the GI. As in previous years the PuK workshop brings together researchers and practitioners of the areas of planning, scheduling, design and configuration. It provides a forum for the exchange of ideas, evaluations and experiences especially in the use of AI techniques within these application and research areas. However, the communities normally do not overlap and joint meetings are rather rare. Thus the PuK workshop is such a joint meeting and provides the possibility for the exchange of ideas, concepts, and problems between researchers from the areas mentioned.

General Topics

The general topics of interest of the PuK community include but are not limited to:

Focus: Designing and Analysing Software Models with AI

Similar to earlier workshops we intend to focus on one area. This year, part of the workshop will be specially focused on Designing and Analysing Software Models with AI. In that context we solicit papers on topics such as:

Besides this focus further submissions from the above mentioned general topics are welcome.

Paper Submission

Paper submissions may be in English or German and have to conform to the given format of the KI 2005 (Berichte). Two kinds of papers can be submitted:

  1. Already published papers on a referred Conference or Journal. Information (URL) on where the paper was published is enough in this case.
  2. Original Papers. An extended Abstract of at least 3-5 papges in PDF oder PS format has to be subitted and will be surveyed. The final version may comprise up to 10 pages.

Both kinds of submissions are equally welcome, because the PuK wants to give an insight in current established or new research and assist the discussion between research groups. Submissions will be published on the Puk web site.
